Silo Table
Lambert & Fils | Lambert & Fils design studio
Silo is a new modular lighting collection by Lambert & Fils that inhabits many worlds at once. Made using 10’ custom aluminum extrusions, the vertical light creates a theatrical yet sleek composition. Named after the historic grain silos lining Montreal's Old Port, the collection takes cues from brutalist architecture, recalling visions of concrete towers, cityscapes or windchimes. As compelling turned off as when illuminated, Silo plays with negative space and reflection to magnify its surroundings, all while retaining exquisite simplicity. Its extrusions and exposed seams offer continuity to the shape, creating a rhythmic pattern.
Featuring three new finishes - mirrored polished aluminum, tumbled aluminum, and glossy oxblood. The collection also introduces a new cumin coloured wire - meant to replicate the soft materiality of leather as an unexpected juxtaposition to the Silo’s aluminum body.

Lambert & Fils design studio
The studio’s original and custom lamps for residential and commercial settings take cues from mid-century Modernism, the Industrial Age, and Lambert’s own minimalist aesthetic. The studio revisits iconic motifs across the range of these influences to create its own distinctive collections. Along with Lambert, the studio’s small group of designers collaborate in the creation of a constellation of floor, wall, and suspended lamps using brass, powder-coated aluminum, and marble. Lambert & Fils commits itself to a tradition of quality, in-house design, and craftsmanship in lighting.
