Marset | Joan Gaspar

The Ginger bollard light is crafted from aluminium and can be hidden amongst greenery or used to illuminate paths and driveways.

It was designed by Joan Gaspar, Marset's in-house designer, as an extension of the lighting brand's existing Ginger collection, which previously only featured indoor lights made from wood.

The Ginger bollard comprises a slender stem crowned by a curved, overhanging shade that emits a soft and non-invasive light. The bollard is available in three sizes, and is available for both hard surface and garden bed installation.

Brand

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965.

The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
