Roc

CA$0.00

Marset | Joan Gaspar

Compact indoor and outdoor wall lamp with a pressed glass diffuser. Its undulating shade covers the light, blurring it. It doesn’t settle for just providing light, it also manages to create an ambiance.

Now Roc has evolved to provide more light. Inside the diffuser there’s a dome-shaped accessory that covers the LED plate, flooding the entire shade with light. In addition to the 5,5 inches version, the collection includes two new sizes of 33,4 inches and 6,7 inches in diameter.

When any version is purchased, it also comes with a filter to prevent glare and screen the light. This filter is recommended when the lamp is installed on a wall but can be dispensed with when fitted to a ceiling.

The smallest version has an accessory so it can be recessed into the wall or ceiling, with only the shade showing.

Brand

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965.

The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.
