A variable frontlet—made of stone-like, iroko wood, or either black, grey, or white aluminum—allows it to alternately blend in to or stand out from its surroundings, making it an extremely versatile fixture ideal for a variety of applications.

In addition, custom signage can be integrated into the frontlet, in accordance with the style of graphic design in use in a given public area.

Marset

Marset was established in 1942 as a family business, not making lighting, but as a foundry. That foundation in casting metals did eventually segue into lighting design, however, with Francisco Marset formally establishing Marset Illuminacion in 1965.

The decades spent experimenting with and molding metal translated well into the contemporary lighting industry: manipulating all kinds of materials to create unexpected, atmospheric lighting effects.

Designer

Francesc Rifé

Interior and industrial designer, Francesc Rifé (Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, 1969) founded his own studio in Barcelona in 1994. Influenced by minimalism and following a familiar tradition linked to craftsmanship, his work focuses on ways of approaching material honesty, spatial order, and geometric proportion. Currently, he leads a team of professionals from several design fields. His projects, domestic and international, range from interior to industrial design, architecture, the creation of concepts, installations, graphics, and art direction.

Throughout his career, Rifé has been awarded prizes from the field of design such as Contract World, Red Dot, ICFF Editors, HiP in Chicago, FAD, and several ASCER awards.
