Always concentrating on innovative and flexible lighting solutions, Luceplan produces lamps featuring high design content, timeless but also able to foresee trends in the lighting sector: an extensive and versatile range of products, organized in the categories of interior design, outdoor use and acoustic solutions.
The company, with roots in its city of origin, Milan, has a forceful international character, in which exports account for about 85% of sales. The global market is its true counterpart. Every lamp embodies high standards of performance, in versatile and personalized models that can respond to the complex needs of special projects: lamps that combine functional excellence with the decorative necessities of residential architecture and contract applications.
Designer
Pio & Tito Toso
Pio and Tito are brothers, they were born in Venice in 1973 and 1971. In Venice they were graduated in Architecture at the IUAV, the University Institute of Architecture of Venice, in 1998.
They founded in 1996 the professional studio PIO&TITOTOSO. The Studio works in building projects in different countries. In the Industrial design they work with the most qualified companies: Artemide, iGuzzini, Foscarini, Venini, Vistosi, Leucos, for lighting and Alessi, Pedrali, Segis, Fratelli Guzzini, Colombo design, Metalco, Lapalma for furniture. They also plan stands, exhibitions, shops, offices and warehouses for several companies, working on the image and the graphics.
They received several prices such as the Archiproducts Design Award 2020, Red Dot Design Award 2017, Compasso d’oro design Index 2016, Design Plus 2016, Selection at the International Compasso d’Oro 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2015, Red Dot Design Award 2012 Good Design Award 2009, I.Dot selection 2006-2007, Young & design 2005.
